SETTLE · RENTALS · EDITION #4 · OCTOBER 2026

Bay-view homes for couples and remote workers, minutes from Downtown.

For couples and remote workers searching for apartments for rent in Edgewater: the bay, a waterfront park and Downtown minutes away — Miami by the water, without the Brickell rush. I reviewed the bay-front rentals and kept the six below, from $4,300 to $10,000.

Every home below is active as of October 20, 2026, with price and availability verified against the listing record the same day.

Living in Edgewater: what to know before you sign

The neighborhood: A residential bayfront strip between Downtown and Midtown. Margaret Pace Park — tennis, volleyball, dog park, baywalk — is the neighborhood’s living room, and mornings here are runners and paddleboards, not traffic.

Walk & transit: Daily life is walkable along the baywalk; the free Metromover (Adrienne Arsht Center station) connects Downtown and Brickell without a car, and the Miami Trolley covers the Biscayne corridor.

Commute check: Downtown ~5–10 min, Brickell ~10–15 min, Wynwood and the Design District ~5 min, Miami International Airport ~20 min.

Schools: Public school assignment is by exact address; the area feeds schools including Morningside K-8, and Downtown magnet programs are a Metromover ride away. Always confirm the assigned school for the specific unit before you sign — I verify it with you as part of the landing.
